DDG1000 - The new US Destroyer

Against a tight time-frame, Caparo Dynamics' have supplied the first two ship-sets of Shock and vibration Mounts for this prestigious new ship currently being built in the United States of America.

The 'Y' mounts used are predominantly there for shock protection of vital electric\electronic equipment but also to give vibration isolation as well. During the evaluation phase it was commented that these mounts give the best vibration isolation of any combined Shock and Vibration Mount currently seen.
